My name is Ellie Mueller, and I am a senior visual designer based in Washington, D.C. My focus is on brand development, human-centered design, and user interfaces and experiences. I’ve been in the design industry for over eight years and am skilled in nonprofit organizations, government agencies, UI design, print design, and branding. I am a strong arts and design professional with a Bachelor’s Degree focused on English and Art from the University of Minnesota.
I’ve worked on projects for the U.S. Department of Education, Library of Congress, The Heritage Foundation, and The White House. For the past four years, I’ve been at Fjord, working on product design and branding. My most recent work has been for StudentAid.gov and Federal Student Aid where we helped make it easier for student borrowers to access information more easily and accessibly.
